Cham Home

Cham Home is a shared living community for students, trainees, and young professionals at the start of their careers. The building is located in the heart of Cham’s historic old town.

This meticulously renovated heritage building spans three floors and offers much more than just a place to stay: residents enjoy beautiful views of the Regen River, a large shared kitchen, inspiring artwork throughout the house, and—most importantly—space for personal growth and connection. It’s a real home for both body and mind.

At Cham Home, community and cultural exchange are at the center of everyday life. It’s an open and international environment where you can meet people from different backgrounds, share experiences, and make lasting friendships—outside of university, apprenticeship, or work.

Striking on the outside. Cozy on the inside.

Cham Home underwent a full renovation over two years and has been ready for residents since spring 2025. The building’s facade is finished with natural clay plaster, giving it a unique and earthy appearance. The special atmosphere continues inside: every room features carefully selected artworks—posters, photographs, and paintings. Many of the pieces are by painter Ludwig Arnold, who contributed a selection of his early works specifically for Cham Home. Additional works are by Christopher Thomas and Jörg Sasse.
